SDH Welcomes Representatives of the Kosovo Delegation: Exchange of Best Practices in Corporate Governance

On Monday, 27 May 2025, Slovenian Sovereign Holding (SDH) hosted a high-level delegation from Kosovo, comprising representatives of key institutions in the field of state asset management, including the Ministry of Economy and the Kosovo Privatization Agency.

The purpose of the visit was to exchange knowledge and best practices in the area of corporate governance. The members of the delegation were introduced to the Slovenian model of managing state-owned enterprises, the legislative framework, and the OECD guidelines, which are applied in the governance of SOEs in Slovena. The visit also included presentations on the process of preparing annual management plans, the use of performance measurement criteria for companies, and procedures for the sale of state assets.

Special attention was given to the areas of compliance, internal audit, the procedures for appointing members of management and supervisory bodies, and cooperation with supervisory and regulatory institutions. At the conclusion of the visit, participants were also introduced to the ESG framework as a key element of sustainable corporate governance.

The visit of the Kosovan delegation represents an important step toward strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and supporting the development of efficient and transparent systems for managing state assets in both countries.
