Slovenska odškodninska družba, d. d., has concluded a legal consulting agreement for the sale of shares of Telekom Slovenije, d. d., with the chosen tenderer

Slovenska odškodninska družba, d. d., concluded a legal consulting agreement for the sale of shares of Telekom Slovenije, d. d., with the law firm White & Case in cooperation with the law firm Ulčar & partnerji on 18 December 2013.

 

On 6 November 2013, Slovenska odškodninska družba, d.d., (SOD) on behalf and for the account of all clients of the selling consortium for the sale of Telekom Slovenije, d. d., shares sent an invitation to law firms to submit tenders for legal consulting in the process of the sale of Telekom Slovenije, d. d., shares.

 

Based on the assessment of SOD that the procedure will require legal services from a relatively broad legal field (national law from a broader field of commercial and civil law, international economic law and EU law) and considering the fact that this is a very important sales transaction, the invitation was sent to eminent domestic and foreign law firms.

 

Seven adequate tenders were received by the deadline.

 

Financial adviser Citigroup, who, among others, analysed and assessed the received tenders, cooperated in the legal consultant selection procedure.

 

After the presentations of the shortlisted tenderers and the negotiations about the essential elements of the legal consulting agreement, SOD selected White & Case, in cooperation with the Ulčar & partnerji law firm, as the legal consultant for the sale of Telekom Slovenije, d. d.
