SSH Strengthens the Resilience of Companies under Its Management through Updated Recommendations
Ljubljana, 22 June 2026 – Slovenian Sovereign Holding (SSH) has updated the Recommendations and Expectations of Slovenian Sovereign Holding, providing companies under its management with further guidance aimed at strengthening the quality of corporate governance, business transparency, responsible decision-making and long-term stability.
The central feature of the updated document is a new chapter dedicated to corporate resilience. Through this addition, SSH places greater emphasis on the timely identification of risks, business continuity, cybersecurity, organisational preparedness and the ability of companies to respond effectively to changes and disruptions in the business, technological, security and regulatory environment.
Corporate resilience is one of the key prerequisites for stable and responsible business operations. In a rapidly changing environment, it is essential for companies to have appropriate mechanisms in place for risk management, the protection of critical business processes, the safeguarding of information systems and the maintenance of business continuity, including in unforeseen circumstances.
The updated SSH Recommendations and Expectations encourage companies under SSH management to adopt a more comprehensive approach to resilience, encompassing:
- systematic identification, monitoring and management of risks;
- ensuring business continuity and preparedness for disruptions;
- strengthening cybersecurity and information security;
- enhancing organisational preparedness and responsiveness;
- protecting critical business processes; and
- adapting to changes in the business, technological, security and regulatory environment.
In addition to the new chapter on resilience, the updated SSH Recommendations and Expectations incorporate amendments reflecting recent legislative developments, particularly in the areas of diversity policies, cybersecurity and resilience, as well as updates aligned with recognised good corporate governance practices. The revisions also cover sustainable business operations, organisational development, corporate culture, business transparency and the reporting of certain categories of transactions.
